PR PLAST S - ANTI RUTTING ADDITIVE
PR PLAST S comes in the form of 3 mm granules. It has been specially developed to improve bituminous concrete characteristics and particularly resistance to rutting. It is using for the wearing course or binder course of the road. This Additive is being used extensively in 30 countries, where hot mix asphalt technology being used.
PRINCIPLE
PR PLAST S works as a bonding agent between aggregates in the binder. PR PLAST S modifies the physical characteristics of bituminous concrete and works as a reinforcement agent between the aggregates in the binder.
ADVANTAGES OF PR PLAST S
* It is very cost effective for using the technology of PR PLAST to the hot mix asphalts.
* The Additive which is used in the Wearing Course, greatly improves the hot mix asphalt’s resistance to RUTTING even at high temperature.
* The additive improves the hot mix asphalt’s resistance to kerosene.
* Greatly improves hot mix asphalt’s resistance to Fatigue, by retaining the Characteristics for a very long period than normal.
* Greatly improves the Modulus of elasticity
* Greatly improves the Marshall Stability
* The hot mix asphalt using PR PLAST S retains its quality at high temperature of up to 60°C and as well as at low temperature.
APPLICATIONS
High Modulus Asphalt Mixes (NFEN 13108 - 1)
Wearing courses of motorways, heavy traffic roads, intersection reinforcement.
Traffic Circles, bus lanes, runways, taxiways, industrial floors, container storage areas.
Resurfacing of slow lanes on motorways and highways.
